New BOOKS Releases ON DECEMBER 2025

Story 1

When in Rome #4 : In Your Dreams by Sarah Adams

Expected 30 déc. 25

Madison Walker thought chasing her culinary dreams in New York would make her happy, but with graduation looming and everything falling apart, she just wants to return home to Rome, Kentucky. A chance misdial to James Huxley—her older brother's lifelong best friend—leads her to tearfully explain her situation. Surprised but sympathetic, James offers her a job as head chef at the new farm-to-table restaurant on his family farm. Though they've never been close, Madison eagerly accepts.

Story 2

An Arcane Inheritance by Kamilah Cole

Expected 30 déc. 25

Ellory Morgan is determined to prove that she belongs at Warren University, an ivy league school whose history is deeply linked to occult rumors and dark secrets. But as she settles into her Freshman year, something about the ornate buildings and shadowy paths feels strangely…familiar. And, with every passing day, that sense of déjà vu grows increasingly sinister.

There's Always Next Year by Leah Johnson & George M. Johnson

Expected 2 déc. 25

Andy was supposed to shed her too-serious student journalist persona and reinvent herself on New Year's Eve. Instead, she puked on her crush, dropped her phone in a fish tank, and managed to get her car stolen.

Dominique is an influencer on the verge of securing a major brand deal that will ensure his future and family legacy. But when he runs into his former best friend, unresolved feelings emerge, and in a small town, there's nowhere to hide.

There's Always Next Year is a dual POV, double love story about what it means to nearly blow your life up, and race to put it back together before your time runs out. And if they fail? Well, there's always next year.

Deinfluencing You From Trends

Deinfluencing You From Trends

It's okay to romanticize your life (I'm the first one to do it), but sometimes I wonder — do we actually love these things, or do we just love buying them? It's fine to get the new Charlotte Tilbury lip balm because it's cute and makes your lips feel amazing. What's less fine is buying a tinted lip oil in a shade you know doesn't suit you just because it fits that fall aesthetic you saw on TikTok.

I'm not trying to preach — I just think it's good to pause sometimes, to remind ourselves that trends don't have to own us. These videos made me think about that, so I wanted to share them too.
